When asked for a quote for this website, G-Man exclaimed, “I'm the kinda G the little homies wanna be like . On my knees in the night sayin' prayers in the street light!” What does it all mean? Don't ask, but do ask… Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's G-Man, a drum–hitting superhero with all the amazing powers of the letter G! G-Man is all important to Groovy Revolution, not least because without him they'd be Roovy Revolution, and that just doesn't make any sense.
Meet Groover, the newest and grooviest member of Groovy Revolution. But just what exactly is Groover all about? Wikipedia has this to say: ‘Musicologists and other scholars began to analyse the concept of ‘groove' in the 1990s. They have argued that a ‘groove' is an ‘understanding of rhythmic patterning' or ‘feel' that sets in motion dancing or foot-tapping on the part of listeners.' So, if you feel yourself start to move, the chances are that Groover's to blame, with his pesky rhythmic patterning! Crikey! Get into the Groover! Groover's in the heart!! Wouldn't you agree, baby you and me, we got a Gr...(that's quite enough of that).
In 1992 a crack beat combo was sent to rock school by a magistrate’s court for crimes against music they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the South Manchester underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as the best party band in the world. If you have a musical problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire Groovy Revolution.
